# Allianz – Pay-as-you-travel insurance

Everystep with Allianz Global Assistance: pay-as-you-travel coverage that starts when you cross a border—Sping built the product end-to-end and integrated insurer systems.

Sping delivered the apps and integrations with Allianz systems.

Everystep offers a form of pay-as-you-travel insurance: ongoing cover where you only pay premium for days abroad. Your phone detects when you cross a border and coverage starts automatically—you do not have to do anything.

Everystep is a new player in travel: it collects travellers’ experiences in one platform so friends hear “real” reviews from people they already trust—more targeted than generic comparison sites.

## A new kind of travel insurance

Together with Allianz Global Assistance, Everystep introduced insurance that departs from classic short-term (high daily premium) or annual (paying even when you stay home) models.

## Sping built the full product

From platform and website to mobile apps and insurer connectivity—designed and built end-to-end.

What started as an entrepreneur’s idea became, through iterations with Sping, an advanced product with polished interfaces and apps. A clear dashboard maps friends’ trips on a world map.

Border events could not rely on GPS alone; phones with data roaming off still had to be detected. Sping solved that engineering challenge.
