# Workflow app for cleaning specialist RMM

Bespoke workflow: iPad crews on-site, billing back end, customer portal—replacing spreadsheets for 150+ locations.

## A workflow app aligned with RMM’s specialist cleaning process

Founded in 1999, RMM specialises in maintaining vehicles and mobile assets on location. Mobile wash installations are VCA 2 Star certified; water is captured and filtered sustainably.

By 2016 the service portfolio had grown: \~80 staff and 150+ sites across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Planning through checklists and billing lived in Excel until volume made manual entry heavy, error-prone, and costly for the back office.

## Choosing bespoke over generic ERP

RMM needed registration to fit the process—not the other way around. Off-the-shelf ERP meant reshaping operations or accepting shallow “customisation”. Tailor-made software from Sping matched how teams already worked and could evolve with the business.

Discovery and wireframes de-risked the investment: stakeholders could feel the product before build.

## iPad in the field, portal for clients

An iPad app guides crews with safety checks; a back end handles billing; a customer portal shows which vehicles were cleaned and when.

Phased rollout built confidence—photos attach to the correct asset instantly instead of email chains and folders.

## Ready for what's next

The same platform now supports de-icing and environmental spill services.
